Man and Van
Man and Van in Macclesfield
A van and a pair of hands for single items, small moves or last-minute jobs that don't need a full crew.
Not every move needs a full house removal. If it's a sofa, a few boxes, a student flat or a single piece of furniture that needs picking up and dropping off, a man and van job covers it without the cost or hassle of a bigger crew.
These are often booked at short notice, so I keep things flexible where I can fit them around the bigger jobs. You get the same careful handling either way - a single armchair gets wrapped and strapped in just as properly as a three-piece suite.
What's included
- Single item or part-load moves
- Short-notice and same-week bookings
- Furniture collection and delivery
- Student and flat moves
- Charity shop and tip runs
- Loading and carrying included

- DeliveryIt goes where you want it at the other end, carried in rather than left on the doorstep.
FAQs
Common questions
Can you do a job at short notice?
Often yes. Man and van work is usually booked at short notice and I keep room in the diary where I can. Ring 07843 800904 and I will tell you what is free this week.
Is it worth booking for a single item?
Yes. A single sofa, wardrobe or appliance is a normal man and van job and it is priced as one.
Do you help with the carrying?
Yes, loading and carrying are included. You do not need to find a second pair of hands.
Are you insured?
Yes. There is one million pounds of liability cover plus goods in transit insurance, so your belongings are protected from the moment they are loaded.

Jamie was very efficient and managed my house move quickly. Everything was stacked methodically in the van, and there were no issues. I had a number of larger house plants which were also looked after!
Jamie and Jake were fantastic! Super accommodating and worked very hard. They went out of their way to ensure my house move went smoothly all with a smile on their face. They were very kind and made a stressful process much more easier.
Jamie was a great guy to work with. Did a brilliant job, efficient, courteous and fair value! Will definitely be using Jamie again!
One point of call. They dismantled my furniture, moved it to the new office space, which was not an easy trip and included many stairs, then reassembled it all in immaculate condition. Great service and a pleasure to deal with.
